Responding to Business Crises - Liz Taylor, FBCI, MIRM
27th Jan 2009, The Devon Hotel, Exeter
10am - 4pm

What do you do when the worst happens? Flooding, fire, bird flu and explosions can all stop your business suddenly in its tracks. More long-term issues such as the credit crunch can also cause the business irrevocable damage. So how do you prepare for unexpected events and how can you respond to the current economic downturn?
Business Continuity Management is about having a good crisis management plan as well as a contingency plan to recover the business after the worst has happened. This Master Class provides hands on experience of how to manage the issues and make your business more resilient against factors that can interfere with success.
The event includes:
• Relevant scenarios
• Best practice templates for preparing your business
• Practical guidance for you to follow
Liz Taylor is a “thought leader” on risk management across the world and has spoken to audiences in many countries. She has contributed to work by the Audit Commission and 25 years of experience in the risk management industry have seen her in a variety of roles including Group Risk Manager of a $3bn private sector company.
