Devon County Council are currently advertising 2 Economic Development Officer vacancies. One post will be responsible for managing the successful Devon Tourism Skills Network and delivering a number of other business support, skills and training initiatives. The other post will be responsible for managing a range of economic development activities including ICT, Infrastructure and the Devon Brand.
Experience of developing strong and effective partnerships with a range of public and private sector stakeholders and raising and accessing funding are key requirements. You should have a strong knowledge of issues facing SMEs, demonstrable experience of leading, delivering and managing projects and excellent communication skills. Being a creative thinker, an excellent negotiator and a committed team member are essential qualities we are seeking, together with good IT and financial management abilities.

Salary: £23,749 - £27,594 (subject to job evaluation)
